The Main Characteristics of Hinduism

Hinduism, one of the world’s oldest and third most popular religions, originated in India and has over 900 million followers. It centers around the Veda scriptures, belief in a Supreme Being (Brahman), and concepts like Karma and Samsara. The Hindu Trinity—Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva—represent creation, preservation, and destruction. Hindu practices include yoga and adherence to Dharma, guiding moral duties. Despite its complexity and diversity, Hinduism integrates spiritual beliefs with a comprehensive philosophy of life.
