Social Media’s Influence on Children and Teenagers
Social media has become an essential tool for communication, particularly among children and teenagers. While it fosters technical and social skills and enhances communication, its influence can also be detrimental. Young users often face risks like cyberbullying, exposure to inappropriate content, and health issues such as depression. Additionally, excessive use can interfere with their academic performance. This paper explores both the positive and negative impacts of social media on young users and emphasizes the need for parental monitoring.
