Smoking in Public Places: Should It Be Banned?
Smoking has well-documented harmful effects on health, finances, and the environment. Passive smoking can be just as damaging as active smoking, particularly for children and those with respiratory conditions. A ban on smoking in public places would address several concerns, including protecting public health, reducing environmental pollution, and preventing harm to non-smokers. Such restrictions would contribute to cleaner cities, better health outcomes, and potentially help smokers quit their harmful habits.
