Fast Fashion and Its Impact on the Fashion Industry
Fast fashion has transformed the fashion industry by promoting a culture of rapid consumption, low-cost production, and imitation of high-end designs. While it has boosted global sales and provided employment opportunities, it has also led to negative consequences such as environmental damage, low-quality production, and the undermining of luxury brands. This paper argues that fast fashion’s impact on the fashion industry is predominantly harmful, promoting unhealthy consumer behavior and diminishing the value of high-quality fashion.
