Drug and Alcohol Abuse among Young People
Alcohol and drug abuse among youth is a significant medical and social challenge with profound consequences. These include severe health risks, heightened violence, and detrimental social impacts. Abuse contributes to fatal accidents, exacerbates mental health issues, fosters violent behaviors, and disrupts education and social integration. As the foundation for future societal progress, addressing these issues among young people is critical to building a resilient and capable generation.
