Causes of Youth Unemployment

Youth unemployment is a multifaceted global socio-economic issue driven by economic crises, lack of qualifications, social environment, and multicultural challenges. Factors such as insufficient motivation, outdated education systems, limited job experience, and discrimination exacerbate the problem. Young immigrants face additional hurdles adapting to foreign cultures and finding work. While job-switching contributes to higher unemployment rates, it is sometimes part of a natural career exploration. Addressing these challenges requires comprehensive strategies to support youth in entering the labor market.
